The Blackburn tramwayme.n have seceded from the General Union and established a separate union, excluding politics. A new weavers' amalgamation has been formed under similar circumstances. It has already members. A LABOR NEWSPAPER. Received 1, 10.5 p.m. Sydney, July 1. The United Laborers' Union conference decided to establish a national newspaper, instead of the two existing State organs. NEW SOUTH WALES COLLIERIES. Received 2, 1 a.m. Sydney, July 2. The Hepbnrrn and Lambton B collieries are idle. The miners of the former object to coal cutting machines. The trouble at Lambton is over the working of the pumps. The Barrier "Miners' Association have struck a levy of sixpence weekly to assist the Waihi and Reefton miners, and are forwarding £SOO immediately.
