The draw for the ladies' senior championship is as follows: First round: Miss Rundle play 9 Miss Bcwley; Mrs. Arnold Jones plays Mrs. Johns; Miss Read plays Miss Blundell; Miss PercySmith plays Mrs. Paton; Miss Hall .plays Miss Brewster; byes, Miss Stephenson, Miss McKellar and Mrs. Glasgow. Junior Championship.—First round: Mrs. Hutton plays Miss Roy; Miss Dowling plays Miss Bradbury; byes, Miss Evans, Miss Leabham. Second round: Mrs. Kebbell plays Miss Reed; Miss G. Roy plays Mrs. Whetter. The first rounds must be completed by Tuesday next, July 2. A bogey handicap, for a prize presented by Mr. Glasgow, was played on Saturday, and attracted a good entry. A strong southerly wind was blowing, with occasional showers, and somewhat interfered with play, the scores not being up to the usual level. The following are the six best cards sent in: W. P. On the Tarahua Club's links a St. George's Cross match was won by Mr. R. Baily.
