Lord Roberts represented the King. while Queen Alexandra and other Royalties were also represented. The pall-bearers included General Dnndonnld, Oeneral Sir lan Hamilton. Lieut-General Hunter. Field-Marshal Lord Methuen, Oeneral Orenfell. and Field-Marshal Sir Erelvn Wood. Troops lined the route. The coffin was covered with -wreaths, including floral tributes from their Majesties Queen Alexandra and the Kaiser, and the Defenders of Ladvsmith.
