ANOTHER FATALITY. Received 30, 5.5 p.m. Berlin. June 30. Okhad*. while flying at Maelhausen, fell 800 feet and was killed.
THE FIRST AUSTRALIAN RACE. Received 1, 12.20 a.m. Sydney. June 30. The first flying race in Australia, between Hart (Australia) on a biplane, and Stone (Armr!ca) on a Metz monoplane, from Botany to Parramatta, W/ t miles, was won by Hart. Time. 23miri. 62sec. Wind and rain compelled the aviiitors to ma! f a wide circuit. Stone did not finL-h. He lost his way in a rain cloud, and then followed a wrong course.
