THE PRINCE OF WALES.
To the Editor. Sir,—Regarding the coming of age of the Prince of Wales, the cablegram in to-day's paper states that certain celebrations were indulged in owing to the coming of age of the Prince. I understand that he was bom in 1894, his laat birthday then making him eighteen years of age. Is his majority reached at that age? And does such apply to all British born? But in your personal notes you state that a flag was flying in honor of the Prince having reached his twenty-first birthday. Could you kindly clear up this little inconsistency, and oblige?—l am, etc., K.M.T. 25/6/12. [Our correspondent is correct in his contention. The Prince is only eighteen years old, and the cable was incorrect in referring to him as coming oi age. -Ed.]
