A MANSLAUGHTER CASE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. The Supreme Court was engaged all day hearing a charge of manslaughter against Kuka Matene Ropilia, arising out of a motor accident at Waipawa, on May 17, when two native passengers were killed by the overturning of a car while going round a corner at a speed alleged to be excessive, accused being the driver. The evidence was not concluded and the further hearing of the court was adjourned till to-morrow.
