At the Sheep-breeders' Association's annual show New Zealand prize-takers were as follows: Border Leicesters: Rams, two years and over, J. Nixon second, J. Dowthwaite highly commended; under two years, J. Dowthwaite first; under 18 months, J. Dowthwaite second; ewes, two years and over, J. Dowthwaite, first and second. Received 27, 12.5 a.m. Sydney, June 26. In Border Leicester ewes, under two years, Dowthwaite was first, and in ewes under 18 months second.
