| MAN BURNED TO DEATH. I By Telegraph—Press Association. I Wanganui, Wednesday. A man named Cameron was burned to death in a whare at Aberfeldie last night. There are no details. A SUDDEN DEATH. Dunedin, Wednesday. Francis Henry Morice, district agent of the Public Trustee and Official Assignee, dropped dead at Elm Row while speaking to a business friend. It is probable that he took the hill too suddenly and overtaxed his heart. A WOMAN DROWNED. Christchurch, Wednesday. The body of a single woman, named Elizabeth Byrne, a resident of Spreydon, was found on the New Brighton beach yesterday. The inquest to-day failed to throw any light on the tragedy, and a verdict of "Found drowned" was returned.
A DROWNING FATALITY. Christchurch, Last Night. A man named John Taylor, in the employ of A. E. Denton, was drowned in the Ilumnui river at about 10.30 this morning. Three horses were also drowned. The river was in flood. The bo*tv has not yet been recovered. FALL OVER A CLIFF. The police have received information that a man named Con Evans met with his death by falling over a cliff near Raetihi. It is understood that, he has relations in New Plymouth, but the police have been unable to ascertain their whereabouts, and would be pleased to receive any information upon the subject.
