OTAGO PRESBYTERY

NORTH AND SOUTH. ) By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. At a meeting of the Dunedin Presbytery to-day the following motion was carried by 13 votes to 9:—"That this Presbytery cannot agree to the amalgamation of the Home Mission Committees and fundls till an augmentation of stipends fund, separate from the mission fundi, is created in the northern section of the church, as agreed upon by the assembly in 1910." A further motion was carried to the effect that the Presbytery--1 recognises the great work before the northern section, and cordially approves of the southern section contributing all the help in its power.
