TROUBLE IN CHINA
SOLDIERS MUTINY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 16, 5.5 p.m. Pekin, June 15. Two thousand old-style soldiers, fearing abandonment without pay, mutinied at Sin-sin-fu, and began looting, shooting and burning. The Governor took refuge in the Catholic mission. Three Japanese houses were looted. The foreigners in the town were not injured. Troops quelled the riot.
