A CONTEST ABANDONED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 16, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, June 16. Sixty thousand people attended at Ascot racecourse, and a Big crowd at Parramatta to witness the first aerial contest, between Hart (Australia) and Stone (America), from Ascot to Parramatta and back. After circling the ground the fliers decided that the weather was unfavorable, and the contest was abandoned.
