THE SHAREMARKET. London, June 13. Junction 21s !)d and 22s 9d, Talisman 42s 0d and 47s Od. Silver, 28 5-16 d. THE STOCK MARKET. MATTHEWS, BENNETT, AND CO. Matthews, Bennett, and Co. report a small yarding of cattle in their Ingle-tt-ood yards on Wednesday. Late prices were hilly maintained, and we quitted practically everything at the following prices:—Young store cows, £3 4s to £3 14s; inferior sorts. £1 15s to £2 7s d; forward cows. £4 13s to £4 15s fid; spring calvers, £5 to £fi ss; lambs, 8s (id to 9s 9d; cull ewes. 3s 4d; two and four-tooth wethers, 14s 4d; weaners, lis sd. At Tarata on Monday full-mouth ewes made 7s to 9s.
At Mr. HaverbieT's clearing sale on Thursday there was a very good attendance, tilie cows, which were a good lot, sold well, notwithstanding the fact that a number of them were very late calvers. Prices were as follows:—Early calvers, £8 10s to £l3; late do., £5 5s to ! £7 10s; old do., £4 10s to £4 15s; bull, £9 10s; weaner heifers, £2 6s to £3 7s; implements and sundries realised satisfactory prices. Private sales during the week as follows:—Weaners. 35s to £2; dairy cows, £8 10s to £{>; small empty heifers, £3 3s; 15-months steers, £2 15s; good 2y 2 -ypar heifers, colored, £8 10s; wellbred four-tooth Romney ewes, 16s.

Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows:—A fair entry of medium bullocks and prime, sheep came forward, and sold at the following prices:—Prime bullocks, £9 10s, £10; light, £9, £9 7s 6d; plain, £8 12s 6d; vealers, £1; medium wethers, 17s Gd to 17s 8d; plain lights ■ 15s 6d to 10s; prime heavy ewes, 10s 9d to 10s lid; medium ewes, 12s 6d to l'3s 9d; medium, 12s. BURNSIDE. Duned : -i, .T-i« 11 At Burnside to-day 205 fat cattle were yarded, consisting principally of fair to good quality cows and heifers, with an odd pen of prime bullocks. This number was in excess of requirements, and an all-round <lrop of about 10s per head was experienced. Extra heavy bullocks, £l2 10s to £l3 15s; prime, £lO 10s to £l2; medium to good, £8 to £9 10s; light, £6 to £7 10s; extra prime heifers audi cows, £11; good, £7 to £8; medium, £5 10s to £0 10s; light, £4 to £5. Store Sheep.—Ewes: A line of four, six, and sight-tooth halfbreds made 15s lid; six and eight-tooth (good), to 16s 2d; two. four, six. and eight-tooth (of a good class), Ids Sd; four and six-tooth (medium), 13s to 13s Od; full-mouth, to Us; aged and toothless sorts, to 7s fid. Lambs: Fairly forward sorts. 12s to 12s 6d; others. 10s 9d to 11a-Od; ewe lambs (small), lis 3d; wethers, fairly forward, 17s to 17s 7d; two-tooth (forward), 15s fid to Ifis 2d; low-conditioned small sorts (culls). 12s Gd: merinos, 10s. Fat Lambs. —Tegs mad< Kis to 10s 4d; a few, extra, to :''s; average weights, 13s (id to 15s Od; r<rht and unfinished, lis to 13s. merino wethers, 12s 6d to 16s 7d; merino ewes, Bs. Fat Cattle.—Beef realised 23s 6d_to 29s per 10011)., the highest price being obtained for prime steer beef. Steers brought £7 10s to £11; extra, to £l4 ss; heifers, £5 10s to £8 10s; extra, to £ll 15s; cows, £5 to £8; extra, to £lO 10s. Store Cattle.—Yearlings made £1 18s to £1 19s; two-year steers, £4 17s; two-year heifers, £4 to £4 5s Gd; cows, £1 15s to £4 7is.Rd; dairy cows, £4 to £lO 15s. Pigs.—Choppers covered-a wide range of quality, and prices ran from 45s to 105e, whilst heavy baconers realised 67s 6d to 755, and lighter sorts 53s +o 655, these prices being equivalent to s'/,d per lb. Heavy porkers made 43s to 48s, and smaller pigs 35s to 40s (equal to 5V 2 d per lb.). Stores were in good supply, and the demand was brisk. Large sorts realised 35s to 42s (id; medium, 25s to 32s fid; and small sorts, 14s to 22s 6d. Wcaners, ■which were in good request, brought 9s, 6d to 14s od.'
