Signor Lioy, who was defending in the Oamorra trial at Viterbo, had spoken for three weeks, when the prisoners complained, and declared that unless the ■peech was curtailed four of them, who •were suffering from heart disease, would die in gaol. Signor Lioy was incensed at their ingratitude, and doffing his gown quitted the court. The trial has been postponed, and the fudge is striving to persuade Signor lioy to resume his speech.
