The following is a copy of the'mint manager's report for tie week endina June 8, 1912: Gordon.—The level going north on the course of Corbett's lode has been extended a further distance of 9 feet Jo* the week, making a total distance from the main crosscut of 54 feet. The reel is from 4 to 5 feet in thickness, showing Bome_splendid stone, but not much rise on the upstrike of the reef in this section has been expended 9 feet during the week, and the rise has now attained, a height of 39 feet. There is an improvement botti m the size of the reef and the quality of the stone this week. The wef is fully 3 feet wide and has been showing more free gold than last week. In the eastern end of the rise a connection was made with the level overhead, and as a result the ventilation is now very satisfactory. It will take the whole of next week to timber up and place the travelling way a position. * '
