THE MAIZE YIELD. Sydney, June 14. A forecast of the New South Wales maize yield gives 4,444,000 bushels, against 7,594.130 last year. THE SPEAKER'S POWERS. Sydney, June 13. The opinion of legal members of the Ministry on the Speaker's powers has been handed to Mr. Willis. Seen subsequently, Mr. McGowen and Mr. Willis both declared that there was no difficulty between the Government and the Speaker.
