NEW ZEALAND RUGBY UNION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union met this evening. The South Canterbury Union wrote declining to take part in the country teams tour. The numerical representation of South Island unions was amended to make up the deficiency. The school football grant of £l3O was apportioned as follows:—Wanganui, Wairarapa, South Canterbury and Southland, £ll each; South Auckland, £10; Marlborough, £9; Bush Union, Manawatu, West Coast, Buller and Taranaki, £8 each; Nelson, £7; Bay of Plenty, £6; Hawke's Bay and Poverty Bay, £5 each; and Horowhenua £4.
A football match has been arranged for next Saturday between the New Ply- I mouth and Stratford Banks and Law. 1 The following will represent New Plymouth:—D. R. Newell, E. A. Grant, W. D. Webster, I. P. Grant, A. C. Thompson. G. T. Pott, 11. B. Reid, J. N. Grant, P. H. K. Martin, D. K. Brown, T. J. Ellis, R. P. Quilliam, A. Mervyn-Pilcher, J. 0. E. Hore, W. O. Molloy. The Tukapa team to play Inglewood First Juniors is as follows.—G. Julian, Tuohy, Wai Apai, Morey, Allen, Loveridge, West, Martin, Smith, Wylie, McLachlan, Morshead, Mc'Koy, Steele, Roebuck. Referees for to-day's matches are as follows:—' First Juniors.—Tukapa v. Inglewood, at Inglewood, at 3 p.m., Mr. L. De Launay; Clifton v. Stratford, at 3 p.m., J. Thomas; Star r. Eltham, at New Plymouth, at 2 p.m., H. Petty. Second Juniors.—Stratford v. Eltham, at Stratford, at 1 p.m., J. 11. Thompson; Inglewood v. High School, at New Plymouth, at 3 p.m., Mr. Johnson.
