A burglar entered a house at Waverley, but the occupant fired on the intruder, who decamped. A ROBBERY. Received 12, 9.30 p.m. Adelaide,-June 12. Four hundred pounds' worth of samples have been abstracted from the trunks of an English jewellery firm's representative who landed from the steamer Riverina. The jewellery is supposed to have been taken in Melbourne.
