MASTERTON TURNED DOWN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A deputation from the Masterton Slicing Club to-day asked the Minister of > Internal Affairs, the Hon. G. W. Russell, ' for a restoration of the permit taken away under the Racing Commission's report. The club previously had four daya annually, and this was cut down to three. The Minister gave the deputation no encouragement, saying that before giving a fourth day to a club now having three days he would favor giving at least one day to clubs that had heen wiped out.
