ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES

A WOMAN MISSING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Tuesday. A married woman, the wife of Patrick Keegan, has been missing since yesterday morning. When her husband awoke he found that his wife had disappeared, apparently having left in her nightdress. Her father-in-law was found drowned about a month ago in the river, and it is feared that a similar fate has befallen her, as a portion of her garments has been found on the river bank. She had been suffering from influenza. The police are dragging the river.
