A WAITERS' STRIKE. VIOLENT DISORDER. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 11, 9.30 p.m. New York, June 11. A mob of striking waiters tried to break np a banquet of visiting German officers at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. The police charged the mob, and violent disorder resulted. The authorities arrested scores of the mob.
STRIKE IN PARIS. Received 12, 12.45 a.m. Paris, June 11. The seamen's strike at Havre for an increase of wages is extending. Several Atlantic liners are held up. THE UNEMPLOYED AGITATION. Sydney. June 11. The Director of the Labor Bureau, commenting on the revival of the unemployed agitation, said that a large number of men continue to ignore the offers of the union at the current rate of wages.
