A HUNDRED YEARS AGO
A BRILLIANT BALL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 8, 1'2.5 a.m. London, June 7. A brilliant "Hundred Years Ago" ball, in aid of the Soldiers' and Sailors' Help Society, was held at the Albert Hall, which was decorated to resemble Brightom Pavilion at the time of the Regency. A large party of Royalties was present. There were four thousand dancers and leading society women assisted. There were 26 quadrilles, the sets including a reconstruction of the Duchess of Richmond'? famous dance.
