HOCKEY.
Owing to the rain, local hockey fixtures were postponed on Saturday afternoon. The return match between Egmoat and St. Mary's players will, in consequence, be played next Saturday. Whakatika will be represented 'by the following in the match against the Reform Hockey Club, of Eltham, on the racecourse ground at 1.30 o'clock this afternoon:—Forwards: M. Stolir, M. Kirton, M. McEwen, E. Johnston, L. Mouatt; 'halves, I. Thompson, 0. Blanchard, C. Penn; backs, E. Andrews, M. Corkill; goal, M. Arthur; emergencies, F. Buchanan, A. Hawke.
