NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The following are the scores in the "Home Ladies" Coronation Medal match, for those qualified to play:—
Saturday proved a most unpleasant day for golf, and consequently the links were not as crowded as usual, only fourteen players taking part in the bogey match for Mr. A. Bewley's prize. The competition was won by Mr. Geo. Gray with a score of two down, and the six best cards handed in were as follows:
To-day the local club is playing Hawera, and, given improved weather conditions, several good matches should be fought out. In the morning singles "will be played, and in the afternoon fourball matches. .Some sixteen players have come up from Hawera for the match.
