THE STRIKE FUND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Thursday. A meeting of the Waterside Workers' Union voted £IOO to the Waihi strike fund and £SO to the Reefton strike fund. A meeting of the Tramway Union this morning discussed the strike lew. The feeling favored voting two shillings per man per week to the strike fund.', The matter will be further discussed at a. meeting to-nigM. NO AID FROM TIMARU. Timaru, Last Night. The Timaru waterside workers deny that their union authorised anyone to send a telegram to Mr. Sample at Waihi promising financial support to the Waihi strikers. One member said that they [had no sympathy with the strikers.
