THE WAIHI STRIKE.
THE STRIKE TO CONTINUE. By Telegraph—-Press Association. Wellington, Saturday. The executive of the Federation of Labor considered to-day certain newspaper statements regarding the Waihi trouble. It denies all reports as to internal dissension and backing down. It says the action taken by the Waihi men has the full endorsement of the Federation's executive. The executive also denies the report that it is calling off the strike next Monday morning, and says the Federation is in full accord with th« men on strike^, • NO FRESH DEVELOPMENTS. Waihi, Last Night. There are no fresh developments with regard to the strike. At a lengthy mass meeting to-day disappointment was expressed that no news had been received from Wellington. Nothing of importance was discussed.
