CYCLING
The committee has decided to again hold the Taranaki Circular Eoad Race, of 100 miles, round Mount Egmont. for the Britannia Cup and prizes totalling in value about £3OO. Last year's race, despite bad weather, resulted in only ft very small deficit, and it has been resolved to maintain the Taranaki race as the most valuable in Australasia. The date will probably be some two weeks after the Timaru'-Chrislohurch race, instead of before then, as was the case last year.
