BOXING
MAXWELL v. PORTER. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The professional light-weight boxing contest between Allen Maxwell (Hawera) and Leon Porter (Hastings) took place at the Wanganui Boxing Association's tournament to-night. The bout, which was for a purse of £45, went the full fifteen rounds, Porter winning on point*.
