Mills and Sparrow, dated April 12, 1912:The lenders of the strike have sent word round to the men that they are to return to work, and though the men have, in bv far the large majority of cases, vet in one or two districts there is still trouble. Not only are some of the men standing out, but they are refusing to let those who wish to work, work.. We are, however, hopeful that they will settle all their -differences in the course of a few days. Danish.—There has been a better trade during the week, and the quotation is unchanged. Siberian.—While the quality continues good, yet there has not been a brisk demand, and lower prices have to be taken.

Australian. —Prices generally are in buyers' favor. There is a lack of confidence felt. The few parcels of choicest are being taken at fairly good prices, but anything under best is difficult of sale. New Zealand.—The s.s.
