A REASON FOR INCREASE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Berlin, May 21. Admiral Von Koester, at a meeting of the Navy League, said that the home membership had increased 20 per cent, in one year, as compared with 40 per cent, increase in foreign leagues. Germany's foreign trade had increased 66 per cent, since the introduction of the navy law; therefore a flying squadron of armored cruisers was needed in order that Germany's power should be better represented throughout the Globe.
BILL PASSED. Received 22, 11.30 p.m. Berlin, May 21. The Reichstag has passed the Army and Navv Bills without alteration.
