TOTAL BURN OUT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gore, Tuesday. A house owned by Thos. Hickey, jun., at Waikaia, and occupied by his father and sisters, was burned down on Friday night. The occupants attended a social. The house was all right at eight o'clock, but the fire was discovered by neighbors half a mile away at nine o'clock. Nothing was saved. The house was insured in the Commercial Union Office for £125. The loss is estimated at £IOO over the insurance. The origin of the fire is a mystery.
