SOUTH TARANAKI RESULTS.

The matches in the Southern Division on Saturday resulted as under:— Seniors.—At Patea, Waimate defeated Patea by 18 points to nil; at Hawera, the local seniors defeated Okaiawa by 9 points to nil; at Kaponga, Opunake and Kaponga drew with three points each. First Juniors.—Hawera and Okaiawa drew -with three points each; Opunake defeated Kaponga by 18 points to nil; Waimate won by default from Alton. Second Juniors.—Waimate defeated Hawera by three points to nil; Okaiawa won by default from Patea. NORTHERN UNION GAME. The first representative match of the season in these parts, under the Northern Union code, will take place at Wanagnui on Saturday June 1, when the Taranaki representatives will journey to the river city to play a' match against the Wanganui representatives. The Taranaki team will be chosen in a few days.
