Vice-Admiral King Fall lias been promoted to the position of Admiral. The Daily News says that there is no risk in predicting that the naval policy which Australia has chosen and which Mr. Winston Churchill favors will be ultimately adopted generally. If the Canadian Ministers are converted, the thing will be as good as settled. The Daily Mail comments on the cordial reception of Mr. Churchill's invitations to ihe Dominions. Mr. White's announcement that Canada is prepared to do her full share is a directly inspiring response from the eldest son of the Empire. It adds that the Reichstag debate shows that Germany means to increase her navy to the utmost poiit. The Dominions' action, provided it is taken in time, will turn the scales. If Canada relieves the British fleet of A+lantic control the crisis will Se surmounted.
