FIRES.
MOTOR-CAR AXD SHED BURNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, Yesterday. A motor-car shed owned by A. Schlagar caught fire this morning, and the oar, which was valued at £SOO. was completely destroyed. It bad just been renovated at a cost of £IOO, and the owner was about to give it a trial. He started the engine, and went inside for a coat. Returning, he found the place in flames. It is thought the benzine ignited from the carburetter. The car was insured in the Dominion Office for £SOO. Another small car in the shed was saved.
