AN IMMENSE MERGER. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Ottawa, May 9. The pending merger of the Bank of Montreal and the Union Bank is reported, and afterwards the Bank of Montreal will probably amalgamate with the Royal Bank of Canada.
