Mr. W. Monk, of the local staff of the National Bank, has received notice oi bis transfer to Chrijtehureh. The Rev. S. J. Serpell, of Masterton, is on a visit to New Plymouth, at whiA town he was at one time stationed afl Methodist minister. Mr. P. Ambury, son of Mr A. Ambury, who intends to study for the Baptist ministry, will leave New Plymouth om Monday for the Dunedin University. Mr. Ambury's future destination is the mission field in Bengal. Mr. W. N. J. Rotoerts, of the New, Plymouth Post Office, has been transferred to Napier. Mr. Roberts, who left for his new sphere yesterday morning, will be succeeded at New Plymouth bj Mr. J. S. Pa ton, of Napier. Mr. W. H. Howlett, who has been assistant at the New Plymouth Borough Council's electrical power house at Mangorei for tho last six years, will leave next week for Gisborne, where he haa accepted an appointment as electrical engineer and manager for a Gisborne firm.
