LOCAL GOVERNMENT BILL
FURTHER PROTESTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Westport, Last Night. At a meeting of delegates from Buller and Inangahua local bodies to-night, Mr. D. J. Williams, county chairman, wax elected delegate to proceed to Wellington to the conference on the Local Government Bill. The members present disapproved of being allowed to elect only one delegate, holding that the interests of boroughs and county councils in some respects conflicted, and that both should have had an opportunity of representation at the conference.
