I NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The following are tlfe results of the first round of the New Plymouth Golf Club's ladies' competition for the Weston Cup:— Miss Read beat Mrs. Haslam, 5 un and 4. Miss Blundell beat Miss F. Evans 2 up and 1. ' Miss Ryan beat Mrs. Kebbell, 8 up and 7. Mrs. Button beat Mrs. Arnold Jones. ; 4 up and 3. Mrs. Glasgow has been elected ladies' captain, and Misses Blundell and Rundle have been appointed to the committee.
