BRITISH INSURANCE SCHEME
CONCESSIONS TO THE DOCTORS. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. London, May 7. Mr. Davis, president of the National Conference of Friendly Societies, said that if the doctors insisted on all their cardinal points in connection with the Insurance Bill, including the 40s income limit, the friendly societies would fight the question on a commercial basis. It is semi-officially stated that Mr. Lloyd George is now willing to allow doctors nearly 8s 6d per head annually. This would add £1,500,000 to the cost of insurance.
