THE HON. H. G. ELL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The Hon. H. G. Ell, accompanied bv Mr. D. Robertson, secretary of the Post and Telegraph arrived here this afternoon. They inspected the local post office, and discussed the questions I of improving the accommodation in the', exchange, the installation of slot ma-,,1 chines in business thoroughfares, and ' the extending of the postal deliverv. The Minister will receive deputations to- j day, and will afterwards be taken for a j tour of the district. On Friday morning j he will leave for Rangiwahia, to ooen ' the new post office and to attend a ban- : qwet in the evening. He will catch the Main Trunk train at Mangaweka on Saturday for Wellington.
