A USEFUL ORGANISATION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. At the third annual meeting of the Plunket Society to-night, the report stated that during the year 175 babies bad been seen and advised about; 3555 [visits had been paid by the nurses to homes; parents had paid 898 visits to the office; and 121 letters of advice in reply to inquiries had been written (some inquiries coming from the Nortli Island). Since the movement was inaugurated 577 cases had been under the nurses' advice. The receipts for the year were £289 and the expenditure £lB5.
