London, April 30. A fire at Guy's Hospital severely damaged the biology department, but the patients were not disturbed, owing to the promptitude of the firemen in quelling the outbreak. A STATE SAWMILL. Sydney, May 1. Mr. Griffiths has arranged to purchase a State sawmill and joinery works at a cost of £50,000.
