THE SUGAR COMMISSION
AT LOGGERHEADS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 2, 12.55 a.m. Sydney, May 1. There was a scene to-day at the Sugar Commission, Mr. Knox, general manager of the Sugar Company, when called, desired to read a prepared statement. The chairman of the commission explained that the commission would first take evidence in the form of questions and answers. Mr. Knox persisted in reading from his statement, and finally the chairman angrily declared the sitting closed.
