A rort'nri : s currounding 1000 Chinese troops in the southern suburbs. Several buildings have been burned. The aggregate losses among the Tibetans are 900 killed, and the Chinese have lost 300 killed. The Chinese have captured the wife "tad children of the brother of the Dalai Lama.
