A MINISTERIAL WITHDRAWAL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Capetown, April 28. Mr. Hertzog, Minister for Justice, has withdrawn his imputations, and has paid £IOO costs as a settlement of Dr. Ward's action lor libel, Mr. Hertzog having reflected on the Free State Medical Couneil. TRIAL BY JURY. Capetown, April 28. An ordinance has been issued at Salisbury, Rhodesia, substituting a judge of the High Court for a jury in the trial in the cases brought by the natives against Europeans, end vice versa.
