THE JTSB.Y DISAGREES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 30, 12.45 a.m. Sydney, April 29. At the trial of Skinner for the murder of a farmer named Watson, the jury were locked up for two days, and finally disagreed.

A mysterious tragedy was reported from Hillgrove on January 23. Mrs. Watson, wife of a farmer, was awaiting the arrival of her husband from the township, when she heard a shot and screams. Rushing out she discovered her husband beside the cart lie was driving, with a bullet wound in his head. Tip- died before assistance arrived. A young man named Skinner was arrested on a charge of murdering Watson.
