NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. A bogey handicap was played on Saturday in very stormy weather, and, in consequence, the entries were small and tlio play not up to the usual standard. The prize presented by Mr. Standish was won by J. Johnston, with a score of 4 down. The five best cards put in were as follows:—■ J._ Johnston 13 4 down n' 3y es^on . a y 6 6 down Sa"} 15 8 down A - Bew,e y - 9 down On Tuesday the ladies will play the first competition for the Edmunds' medal. The entrance fee for the series is Is 6d.
