DEAD AGAINST STRIKES. By Telegraph—Special to News. Auckland, Friday. Mr. Robertson, M.P., in an interview, said that he expected the Government would retain office while it pursued a progressive policy. If it did nothing to antagonise Labor, there was no reason why th# Labor members should not continue to support the nrestnt administration. Mr. Veitch, in an interview, expressed similar views, and added that auv attempt at legislation antagonistic to the Labor clement would precipitate a conflict. The New Zealand Labor Partv was dead against strikes, and preached the doctrine of political organisation, as against strike methods.
