THE KOOMBANA
THE MARINE ENQUIRY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 28, 1.5 a.m. Perth, April 27. The Marine Court has opened the enquiry into tho loss of the Koombana. Captain Upjohn, of the steamer Bullarra. gave evidence that lie noticed, when the Koombana was leaving Port liedland, that she was in particularly good trim. Me remarked upon the fact. The only explanation he could offer was that the Koombana was smashed by the force of the cyclone. It was impossible for her to turn turtle.
