DISTRICT NEWS

WAREA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) A meeting of the Glenferrie Tennis Club was held on Monday night. It was decided, to hold a concert and dance about the end of June. A meeting was held in the hall on Friday night for the purpose of forming a skating club in Warea. Mr. K. F. Andrews was voted to the chair. Mr. J. Murcott was elected secretary. It was decided to form a club and to open the rink on Tuesday and Saturday nights. Messrs. H. Bishop, J. Murcott, and J. Robinson were appointed instructors.

The Cape Egmont Horticultural Society meeting will be held on Saturday night. A meeting of the skating club will be held on Saturday night, when all final arrangements will be made.
