LOAN. PROPOSALS. The ratepayers of Inglewood were yesterday called upon to vote for two separate loan proposals—one to borrow £BSOO for the purposes of purchasing the plant and interest 'of the Electric Lighting Company w.ns carried by 40 votes, but the other i borrow £4OOO to erect a Town Hail, was lost by the narrow margin of three votes. Mr. W. Ogier. the returning officer, got the results 'out promptly. The voting was as follows: ELECTRIC LIGHTING PROPOSAL, For 110 Against 70 Informal 4 Majority in favor 40 TOWN HALL PROPOSAL.
